Privacy Policy

This page explains what information we collect when you shop at The Jade Seagull (jadeseagull.920shops.com) and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what an order needs, we use it to make and deliver your order, and we do not sell it.

What we collect

When you place an order we collect what is needed to fulfill it:

• Your name and email address.
• Your shipping address (for shipped orders).
• Your phone number, only if you choose to provide it at checkout (optional; used by carriers for delivery questions).
• The items you ordered, including any sizes, options, and personalization details you provide.
• Anything you include when you email us for support.

That is the list. The storefront does not use analytics or tracking pixels, and we do not collect information we do not need to make and deliver your order.

Payments

Checkout is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Card details (and, for approved business customers, ACH bank account details) go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We never see or store your card or bank numbers; we only see that a payment succeeded. Stripe handles your payment information under its own terms and privacy policy.

How we use your information

• To produce your order, whether it is printed on demand by our production partner or handmade in-house, and to ship it or hold it for local pickup.
• To send transactional email about your order: confirmations, shipping or pickup notices, and replies to your questions.
• To meet tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing email unless you have asked for it. Order emails are transactional only.

Infrastructure and service providers

A few services help us run the shop, and each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Cloudflare runs our website infrastructure.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Our production partner receives your name, shipping address, and order contents for items printed on demand, so your order can be made and shipped.
• Shipping carriers receive your name and address so your package arrives.
• Our email provider delivers order confirmations and other transactional email.
• Google Fonts serves this site's typefaces, so your browser requests font files from Google when a page loads.

These providers act on our behalf. We do not share your information with anyone for their own advertising or marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep order records as long as tax and accounting rules require. Beyond that, we do not hold on to personal information we no longer need.

Your choices

Email info@jadeseagull.com to ask what information we hold about you, request a copy of it, or request deletion. We will honor deletion requests except for order records we are legally required to keep. To confirm it is really you, we may ask you to write from the email address on your order or reply to your order email.

Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not quietly start doing something this policy says we do not do.

Who we are

Jade Seagull is a trade name of JAKEMAKES LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company in Oshkosh, WI. JAKEMAKES LLC is the merchant of record for all sales; card statements show JAKEMAKES with a JADESEAGULL suffix. Questions about this policy? Email us.
